Adding a little cannabis to green bean casserole delivers a pleasant result

Green bean casserole is a favorite holiday dish; however, when you add a little cannabis to the recipe, there is definitely no specific day you need to give it a try. The weekend is starting, and what better way to spend it with a good dish on the table that will delight the palate of all your family and friends.

To start this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

2 medium onions
1 T olive oil
1/2 C breadcrumbs
3 T marijuana butter
1/2 t minced garlic
1/4 t ground nutmeg
3 T all-purpose flour
1 C chicken stock
1 C half-and-half
1 pound fresh green beans

Once you have everything on hand, start by preheating the oven to 375°F and also heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Slice the onions as thinly as possible and cook them in the oil until golden brown and caramelized. Mix the caramelized onions with the breadcrumbs.

Heat the marijuana butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic, pepper and nutmeg, and cook. Stir for a little over a minute. Sprinkle the flour over the skillet and cook, stirring for a couple more minutes.

Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the half-and-half. Cook, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens. Remove the skillet from the heat and add one-fourth of the onion/breadcrumb mixture along with the green beans. Spray a 1 1/2 quart baking dish with cooking spray and fill three-quarters full with the bean mixture.

When done, spread the remaining onion/breadcrumb mixture over the top of the pan. Bake, uncovered, for about 45 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and the top is golden brown. Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes and start enjoying a tasty dish.
