Chicken parmesan with added cannabis makes for an incredibly delicious dish
Chicken parmesan is characterized by being a recipe that has been around for quite a few years now. While it is true that many people have their own way of preparing this dish, it is your time to shine after adding cannabis to the equation.
To start this cannabis infused chicken parmesan you need to get the following ingredients:
1 large egg
2 T lemon juice (or juice of 1/2 a lemon)
2 t minced garlic
1/2 T fresh chopped parsley
1/2 t each salt and pepper
½ T of your favorite chicken seasoning
2 T canna-butter melted
2 T infused olive oil
1/2 C breadcrumbs
1/3 C fresh grated parmesan cheese
1 package of provolone cheese
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (or thighs)
1 can tomato sauce
1 can of diced tomatoes
Start by preheating the oven to 400°F, and then lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place the chicken in plastic wrap and toss until flat. Take a large bowl and mix together the egg, lemon juice, two teaspoons garlic, pepper, salt and parsley. Then, dip the chicken in the egg mixture and cover. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes.
In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dredge the egg-coated chicken in the breadcrumb/parmesan mixture, pressing lightly to coat evenly. Once done, place the chicken on the olive oil-infused baking sheet. Mix two teaspoons garlic and salt to taste and pour half of the infused olive oil mixture over the chicken. Be sure to mix well for evenness. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and carefully turn each chicken breast. Pour over remaining garlic and infused olive oil mixture and return to oven to roast over medium-high heat for ten more minutes, or until chicken is crisp and golden brown.
To create the sauce, start by mixing together both cans of tomato sauce and diced tomatoes, add your favorite seasoning and melted cannabutter. Next, coat each chicken with the tomato sauce and cannabis butter mixture. Layer each chicken with equal amounts of mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and provolone cheese. Sprinkle two tablespoons of Parmesan cheese on top and drizzle with a tablespoon of infused olive oil. Roast for three minutes in the oven until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
Finally, if you like, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately for a nice dinner.
