Dan Akroyd, Jim Belushi bring the group back together for another run

Summer has already arrived to hit many parts of the country, but perhaps many cannabis enthusiasts still do not have a secured plan where they can go to have a good time accompanied by their strong culture. Not to worry, especially for visitors and residents of Michigan, as the Blues’d and Infused cannabis music festival will be held on August 20 at Riverfront Park in Niles. The event will be headlined by the Blues Brothers band, featuring Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi, brother of the original Blues Brother, the late John Belushi.

Both Akroyd and Jim Belushi have always been involved in the cannabis world, and now they will be performing at an event that has become an incredible experience. Including marijuana in a festival definitely adds value, and many 420 culture lovers will now be able to have a Saturday full of good music and cannabis.

Float Nation Live and Highway Horticulture Productions, a cannabis processing facility, will be in charge of presenting the event at Riverfront Park in Niles during that August weekend. The announcement indicates that there will be cannabis-related festivities, including vendors, local bands, consumer tents, food trucks, a dab tent, a playground, misting tents, and more.

The Blues Brothers will take the stage for a full 90-minute set. The duo is commonly known for dancing and singing hits from the official Blues Brothers canon, such as “Sweet Home Chicago” and “Soul Man,” as well as several classic tunes from the vast catalog of great music created in the US. “It is a show band,” Belushi said. “We’re going to have fun. The Blues Brothers are going to rock the whole southern Michigan, I got to tell ya.”
