Cannabis oil vs CBD oil: The distinction is important in medical marijuana use
As cannabis continues to gain acceptance, new terminology is being thrown around that may not be familiar to many. Most have, at some time or another, heard of THC, tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana that results in the “high” feeling. CBD, or cannabidiol, is a term that has made its way into mainstream media on a daily basis due to its positive medicinal qualities. But, it’s important not to confuse CBD oil with cannabis oil.

Due to a lack of research that could pave the way to wider acceptance, cannabis oil is still relatively difficult to purchase. CBD oil is rapidly becoming mainstream, soon to be found on the store shelf next to the chewing gum and candy bars. Until the time that cannabis oil is made available, CBD oils are a legitimate offering that can help hundreds of thousands find relief from a veritable endless list of ailments.
