The actor has prepared his own line of cannabis products
Seth Rogen may have tried to get his marijuana message across through the big screen with movies such as Pineapple Express and Superbad, but he is now taking his message directly to consumers. The Hollywood actor and comedian is launching a new line of marijuana products with the help of Canopy Growth in an effort to “make it easier for people to learn to love cannabis.”
Rogen and his creative partner, Evan Goldberg, have created Houseplant, a Canadian recreational marijuana company. It is reportedly the result of “years of experience and dedication” and has been backed by Canopy Growth.
Explains Rogen, “Houseplant is a passion we’ve brought to life through drive and dedication. Every decision we’ve made for the business reflects the years of education, first-hand experience and respect we have for cannabis.”
The first strain to be introduced will be Houseplant Sativa. It is expected to be distributed across British Columbia this month before being rolled out to other areas. Next, Houseplant Hybrid and Houseplant Indica will be made available, along with a variety of soft gels and prerolled marijuana cigarettes.
Goldberg adds, “We are so proud to be launching in Canada, our home. After spending five years diligently preparing for the launch of this company, we’re excited to be able to share our passion for cannabis with Canadians in this way.”
Canopy Growth has been picking up a lot of deals involving celebrities lately. It recently saw Martha Stewart join up with a line of CBD products for animals and humans and, now, has Rogen in its corner.
