This pumpkin pie recipe will make anyone’s mouth drool
Thanksgiving is almost here – only ten days remain before families and friends get together to celebrate and recollect what they’ve accomplished this year. Besides the standard fixings on the table – turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce – liven up the festivities with a pumpkin pie that includes a cannabis crust that will be the perfect finish to the meal.
The recipe comes by way of La Vida Verde, a creator of holistic edibles. The company has produced a range of healthy organic edibles, and its pumpkin pie is no different.
Making the pie crust is as easy as making any crust. The ingredients include:
1 ½ Cup – Ground Graham Crackers
1 Bag – La Vida Verde Lemon Pie Super Cookies
6 TBSP – Melted Butter
⅓ Cup – Sugar
Mix all of the ingredients until blended and press into an 8-9″ pie plate. Bake in a 375-degree oven for seven minutes.
After the crust has cooled, fill it with your favorite pie filling. There are a number of ready-to-use options, or you could create your own. After pouring the filling into the crust, bake in the oven at 375 degrees until the edges of the filling are set – around 50-60 minutes.
Pull the pie out of the oven and let it cool. It can be served warm or at room temperature, whichever is the personal preference. Top it off with a little whipped cream to make it extra delicious.
