Greg Norman launches a CBD-infused product line

Golf legend Greg Norman is now the latest pro athlete to join the cannabis industry. The Hall-of-Famer has teamed up with Green Growth Brands out of Ohio to produce a new line of wellness products based on cannabidiol (CBD) and which will carry his name to retail chains across the country.

Through a subsidiary of Green Growth, GGB Beauty, the new partnership will introduce CBD-infused products that are “designed for active adult men and women.” Norman reportedly said that he wishes the products had been available when he was most active on the greens in the 80s and 90s, adding, “I played professional golf for 40 years, hitting more than 5 million golf balls that have caused significant wear and tear on my body.”

Norman adds, “Having been through it all, on the golf course and in business, I am thrilled to partner with GGB Beauty to distribute Greg Norman® CBD products throughout the country. GGB Beauty was an obvious choice as a partner, as the organization is laser-focused on providing high-quality products and the consummate retail experience for their customers across the United States.”

The new line will be made possible with the help of Tilray, which has become the preferred supplier of the CBD ingredients that will be used in the products. The new line is expected to be introduced later this year.
