PureHemp introduces a line of products that should have special interest for the cannabis beverage industry

One of the issues found when trying to create beverages made with cannabis is that the oils found in the plant typically don’t mix well with water-based drinks. While there have been solutions created to overcome this obstacle, a new alternative being introduced by PureHemp Technology has the potential to take the cannabis beverage market to a new level. The vertically integrated industrial hemp company has teamed up with New Age Nanotech to introduce new water-soluble cannabidiol (CBD) products that can open new doors for the cannabis beverage industry.

The new partnership will see the product line rolled out sometime this month under the Pure Kind Botanicals brand. The line will include four flavored tinctures and six topical products, all ready to be infused in beverages. Thanks to New Age’s SOLUTECH technology, all of the products are backed by clinical research that includes human testing, giving them more support for use in consumer products. Phase I trials are still being conducted under the guidance of Health Canada, and the final results are expected to be ready before the end of the year. So far, the products have shown to offer increased absorption rates and bioavailability, making them more attractive to beverage manufacturers.

Explains PureHemp founder and CEO Ed Lehrburger, “PureHemp searched the world for the best and most effective water-soluble delivery solutions,” he said. “After evaluating 15 different technologies, it became clear that New Age Nanotech’s water-soluble process is superior to all other technologies we vetted. PureHemp has been conducting its own extended shelf-life testing of the SOLUTECH water-soluble products and we are impressed by their superior shelf stability.”
