The cannabis-infused beverage market continues to expand, helping the industry evolve

Many consumers are taking advantage of the plant’s therapeutic properties, and some are doing so in a way that was previously not so traditional. Ready-to-drink, simple and refreshing cannabis-infused beverages are changing the way people with chronic illnesses consume their medical cannabis. Adults living in or visiting Arizona can find a new range of cannabis-infused beverages that will help them say goodbye to all of their conditions.

In addition to being an alternative to the risk of opioid addiction, seniors living with chronic pain now even have a healthy option that pairs well with dinner. Arizona-based manufacturer and seller of specialty cannabis beverages, Sweet Dreams Vineyards, admits to witnessing an increase in the number of seniors turning to cannabis for pain relief.

With this in mind, the company continues to expand its footprint through 18 dispensaries throughout The Grand Canyon State, including locations in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Tucson, and Lake Havasu. The firm features beverages influenced by the taste of popular wines. However, instead of alcohol, these beverages use cannabis as the active ingredient.

One of the most popular options is Cannabernet, a drink that replicates the nutty, vanilla, and peppery notes of Cabernet Sauvignon. On the other hand, there is the favorite of many, the Marijuarita, which has the slightly sweet but acidic flavors of a classic margarita.

“Older adults are discovering that they can enjoy the relaxing, pain-relieving benefits of marijuana and the taste of alcohol without having to wake up hungover or compromising their lungs,” says Sweet Dreams Vineyard founder Bill Gibbs. “Sweet Dreams Vineyard cannabis drinks are fast acting, without the hangover of alcohol, and only half the calories.”
