The healing effects of cannabis are finding a lot more support with females

More and more women are finding out that cannabis and CBD (cannabidiol) products can be of great comfort and aid in dealing with gynecological conditions that all women go through. Those few days that come around every month for women often bring terrible cramps, are debilitating and can be very painful. There is a new study published in the Journal of Women’s Health that shows that “women have a history of using cannabis to cope with chronic pelvic pain and menstrual cramps.”

Menstrual pain with the accompanying mood shifts and heat flashes are no fun, but most women accept the discomfort because it is part of their bodies natural functioning and is the process that allows them to get pregnant and bring a new life into the world, which is one of the great miracles of our existence.

However, that does not mean that they have to just accept the discomfort. There are over the counter and prescription medicines often prescribed for the conditions, but most of them come with unpleasant side effects.

Now, with the legalization of medical and recreational cannabis products in many states, women are finding that it is easier and more acceptable to give cannabis a try for their menstrual pains to see if it will actually help to alleviate the cramps and accompanying ‘bad mood’ that comes around every month or so.

These days, there is a growing and profitable market taking shape offering cannabis products for treating menstrual pain and heightening sexual arousal including bath soaks, cannabis tampons, lubricants and an entire array of products aimed at providing some comfort and relief for women during this often stressful period.
