A new board member should help the company refine its operations
Nevada’s MJ Holdings Inc. (MJH) is strategically expanding its board as it continues to work to shape the company’s future. It is looking to allow three directors on the board and will add more members as needed to grow. The latest member to be suggested for the board of directors is Roger J. Bloss, an established hotelier and founder of Vantage Hospitality Group.
Bloss would join MJH CEO and Chairman Paris Balaouras on the company’s board. The third individual is expected to be named in the next couple of weeks. Bloss said of his nomination, “I am honored to be nominated to the Board of Directors of MJ Holdings, Inc. As President of the Company’s hospitality division, I will lead the development of our canna-tourism brand of hotels and lounges.”
Bloss is no stranger to MJH. He is the president of the company’s Alternative Hospitality division and invested $1 million in the company in 2018 when it held its initial funding round.
Balaouras said of the nominee, “I have worked with Roger for over a year developing the first generation of cannabis centric hotels and consumption lounges. He has been a tremendous supporter of our Company and his vast experience will bring true value to our Board of Directors. We look forwarding to officially welcoming Roger aboard.”
Bloss founded Vantage in 1996 and has held several executive positions with major hotel franchises over his professional career. A vote to place him on the board will be held by shareholders on April 1.
