The former boxer and cannabis supporter introduces Tyson 2.0

For years now, marijuana has not had so many advocates who are more enthusiastic than former professional boxer Mike Tyson. He never tires of talking about its virtues every chance he gets and has already confessed to having smoked before several fights. It is therefore not surprising that he has just launched his Tyson 2.0 cannabis line.

The legendary boxer and renowned marijuana lover is embarking on a new adventure in the cannabis industry. With the launch of his company Tyson 2.0, he becomes one more in the growing list of celebrities who do everything they can to support this plant. This new company will offer a wide range of cannabis products such as flowers, pre-rolled cigars, beverages, among others.

To bring the products to market, Tyson 2.0 has partnered with Columbia Care, one of the largest cannabis manufacturers, growers, and distributors in the US. This company will sell the product line through its dispensaries and wholesale to other retailers. It should be noted that this is not the first time “Iron Mike” has ventured into the marijuana sector.

Three years ago, he launched Tyson Ranch, a 40-acre cannabis ranch in California, and in 2019 the famous entrepreneur launched his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, where he interviews athletes and celebrities while smoking his favorite products.

“Cannabis has changed me for the better, both mentally and physically, and I want to share that gift with others who are also seeking relief,” Tyson said in a press release. “We will reach so many people and deliver the high-quality cannabis products they’ve been looking for.”

Launched last Friday, the brand offers 1-ounce bags of flower with a variety of strains, including the popular “Maui Wowie,” with varying potency priced at $89.95. In addition, among the plans, Tyson 2.0 is looking to sell pre-rolls and 3.5-gram jars of flower in the coming months.
