The cannabis industry has a new retail option through the Leafly point-of-sale solution

A new point-of-sale (POS) system integration has just been born, thanks to two major firms in the cannabis industry technology space. Leafly, known as one of the world’s leading cannabis discovery marketplaces and resources, has joined forces with Alleaves, an explosive, industry-leading seed-to-sale technology company. The new partnership will enable cannabis retailers to improve their operational efficiency and enhance their customers’ online shopping experience.

Alleaves co-founder and CEO Mike Beedles was quite excited to announce the news. He said the company is working around the clock to expand its footprint in many ways, and that process is evidenced by the key integration that is on the way. Alleaves will work hand-in-hand with Leafly to further advance its mission to become the leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform for cannabis companies across the US.

Thanks to the new partnership, customers will be able to receive real-time inventory updates from Alleaves. While all of this is happening, automatic menu synchronizations will run between the POS and Leafly. The integration comes shortly after Alleaves announced the acquisition of Biotrack from Forian in a $30-million deal.

“As we continue to expand Leafly’s offerings to provide cannabis consumers with the best possible shopping experience, partnerships like this are so important and equally exciting,” said Jason Tartaglia, Senior Vice President of Products for Leafly. “This new integration with Alleaves brings increased value to our retailers and our platform.”
