This cannabis recipe could be the perfect treat for the holidays

Candies have ceased to be a favorite product only for children, as many adults now turn to them to sweeten their day. This is especially true when marijuana is added as an ingredient, resulting in a snack that is much more addictive than it already is. This recipe for soft and chewy orange marijuana candies will be a neighborhood attraction without a doubt.

To get started, you need the following ingredients:

A small amount of vegetable oil for greasing pan and parchment
1/4 C cannabis-infused butter
1/4 C butter
1 C half and half
1/2 C corn syrup light or dark
1 C granulated sugar
1/2 C dark brown sugar
1 t salt
2 t vanilla extract
2 drops of organic orange essential oil.

Once you have everything ready, start by lightly greasing a 5 x 9-inch loaf pan and line the bottom and at least half of the sides with parchment paper. Alternatively, use a silicone loaf pan with no preparation needed. Then place the half and half in a large saucepan over medium heat, add the cannabis butter and butter, and heat until the butter melts. Stir gently to combine well.

Proceed to gently stir in the sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt until combined. Place the lid on the pan and cook for one minute. Remove the lid and place a candy thermometer in the pan. Cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 245 degrees F, then immediately remove from the heat and quickly stir in the extract and essential oil and then pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

Let stand until cool (place in the refrigerator to speed up the process). Then use parchment paper to remove the candies from the pan. Cut into four long rows by six short rows to make 24 individual candies. Always keeping in mind the dosing guidelines, you are ready to enjoy premium candies.
