Biscuits are very soft, delicious, and quick to make. It is an ideal bread for breakfast or teatime and even for dinner. The good thing about biscuits is that they can be flavored with different ingredients, but today’s recipe certainly brings an accompaniment to take their flavor to the next level. If you want your biscuits to be the sensation of the moment, bring a little marijuana to the game.

To get started, make sure you get the following ingredients:

2 C flour all-purpose
1 T baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1 t granulated sugar
2 T cannabis-infused butter
2 T butter
2 T vegetable shortening
2/3 C buttermilk
1 T butter melted

Once everything is in order, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Place baking soda, flour, baking powder, and sugar in the bowl of a food processor and pulse several times to blend. Add cannabis-infused butter, butter and shortening, and pulse several times until you have a mixture that resembles coarse crumbs. Spoon into a medium bowl.

Add buttermilk and stir until dough holds together. Mix and knead the dough as little as possible to keep the cookies tender. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a disk about one inch high and six inches in diameter. Use a round cookie cutter or a glass about 2.5 inches in diameter to cut out eight cookies, rerolling the dough as needed. Place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

Proceed to brush the tops of the cookies with melted butter and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let cool on a rack for three minutes before serving. Once all this is done, they are ready for the freezer.

Freeze unbaked cookies in a single layer before transferring them to a freezer bag. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 400 degrees F for five minutes, brush with melted butter, and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
