Pasta lovers will be craving more of this cannabis creation

It’s hard to find someone who would turn down a hot dish of fettuccine alfredo. The creaminess, the noodles and the strong Italian cheese are a wonderful combination. However, even perfection can be improved, and adding cannabis does the trick. Making homemade fettuccine alfredo is possible with this simple recipe.

The recipe calls for cannabis butter, which is easy to make, but it can also be purchased. There are a number of different recipes for making your own, but, if time is an issue, check area dispensaries and stores to see if it’s available.

To get started with the cannabis fettuccine alfredo, you will need:

1/2 C of parmesan cheese (can be mixed with Asiago and Romano cheese)
8 oz of fettuccini pasta
2 1/2 T of all-purpose flour
4 1/2 T of canna-butter
2 C of room temperature milk
1 t of garlic
Your favorite hot sauce
Pepper and salt

First, boil a pot of salted water and then add the pasta. As it’s cooking, melt the canna-butter over medium heat in a medium saucepan; add the all-purpose flour and whisk heavily until thickened and foamy. Next, slowly pour the milk into a saucepan, constantly whisking until it thickens. Stir in the parmesan cheese and add the garlic, hot sauce and spices to taste. Thoroughly mix with a whisk.

When the pasta is done, drain completely of all the water. Size out a portion on a plate and add the homemade cannabis alfredo sauce and enjoy.
