This recipe will definitely be a lip-smacking treat
It’s Friday, but, amid a potential threat to people’s health, staying at home sounds much more appealing. If you have been waking up the chef inside of you, here is a great recipe for some peaches and biscuits to make the weekend special. The icing on the cake is that this is a cannabis-infused version to finish up a meal in a nice mood.
Preparation time: 5 min preparation and 30-minute cook
Yields: four servings
-Two peaches, whole
-Brown sugar, ½ cup
-Butter, 2 tablespoons
-Biscuits, a can of your favorite brand
-Vanilla extract, 2 drops
-Cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon
-Pecan nuts, 1/4 cup
-Ground cannabis, 1/16 teaspoon
The first step is to have the biscuits ready, and, since those are not going to be homemade – unless you are making your own – just follow the instructions that come on the biscuit can and put them in the oven appropriately. Meanwhile, cut and dice the peaches and remember not to include the pit.
Once this step is done, take a saucepan – or it could also be your favorite cast iron skillet – and add the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, cannabis and cinnamon along with the peaches. Let the ingredients simmer until liquid and stir occasionally. From there, continue cooking for the next ten minutes and don’t forget to stir the mixture.
After that, remove from the stove and chop the pecans into small pieces – you can add more quantity if you want. Once the biscuits come out of the oven, remove one while it is still warm, open it, put it on a dish and pour the peach mixture on top and dress with the pecans.
