Celebrating Thanksgiving cannabis-style

Start preparing the Thanksgiving menu now and make it extra special

Thanksgiving is only about five weeks ago and it’s not too early to start thinking about what’s going to be on the table. There will most likely be the common items – turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing – and some personal twists, but this year’s table can be extra special by including some items infused with cannabis. Some unique menu items can make all the difference and add some spice to the holiday.

Start the meal off with a Cobb Salad and a cannaoil vinaigrette dressing. It’s simple enough to make and only requires exchanging one tablespoon of olive oil for one tablespoon of cannaoil. Cannaoil can be purchased, but it can also be made. It only requires one cup of ground cannabis flower and one cup of cooking oil, heated together and then poured through a cheesecloth.

Nothing says Thanksgiving in cooler temperatures like apple cider. Whether it’s purchased in a store or made at home (the latter always being the preferred method), apple cider can become cannabis apple cider by adding just a little bit of glycerin cannabis drops. For a batch that makes around four cups of cider, just add 3-4 drops of the tincture and you’re done.

After the meal, if there’s any room left, have a cannabis snickerdoodle apple crisp waiting. There are plenty of recipes out there for this awesome dessert, but the key is to make sure to include the right snickerdoodle cookies. Goodship Saigon Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Cookies, which contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), are a good option and just three will provide enough to make a batch of six servings.
