Jim Hourigan has been tapped to steer the company into the future

Since April of this year Dennis Hunter, CannaCraft’s co-founder, has been servicing as a temporary CEO in this large-scale cannabis manufactory company. In January 2019, Jim Hourigan joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and it has now been announced that he will substitute Hunter as the CEO moving forward. Hourigan takes the position with a vast experience in executive management-labor from a wide variety of business.

Hunter, who will now be assuming the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, said, “Over the last few months, the Board of Directors and I conducted a search for a permanent CEO with unparalleled operational experience, industry knowledge, and leadership capabilities. We were lucky enough to have that person in-house.” According to Hunter, with his last position as COO, Hourigan implemented core changes to the operations as well as the structural environment that led to improvements in many other areas of the company. Hunter added that Hourigan created great momentum and development of a new fresh partnership that benefits the company.

“I am honored to be named CannaCraft’s CEO. In my time as COO of CannaCraft we have made significant progress towards strengthening our business and building upon our extensive portfolio of unique cannabis products and I am grateful for the individual and collective contributions of everyone here at the Company. As CEO, I look forward to executing on our strategic priorities, sharpening our focus on innovative products and cementing CannaCraft’s position as the industry leader,” said Hourigan during the announcement.

Before working with CannaCraft, Hourigan worked in an executive position in many fields like eCommerce, consumer, medical and device companies. Most recently, he was the COO of BuildDirect, Inc., a Vancouver-based technology company.
