Almost anything you need to know about the cannabis industry is now in an app

There is way too much information being thrown around on a daily basis about the cannabis industry. It would be virtually impossible to keep up with all the changes in order to be a better cannabis connoisseur. If you’ve wanted to improve your knowledge and become a true cannabis expert, there’s now an app for that.

Can-Ed was created by Jason Sturstman out of Las Vegas. It offers course material as well as quizzes that will gauge your proficiency and allow you to fill in the gaps where you may be weak. It can also help someone score a job in the cannabis industry.

Says Sturstman, ‘[It will help with] how to get a job in the cannabis industry. The neat thing too is, you flip your phone to the side and then get to [watch] some great classes. After watching several video lessons, you then take the quizzes. It will guarantee you a certificate to work in the cannabis industry.”

The app is already finding local support in the local market. Acres Dispensary is using it to help improve the knowledge of its workers, with assistant manager Nate Hinckley explaining, “The need for personal sales experience is huge but finding a person that knows how to geek-out on the science end of it as well as enjoys the sales aspect of it.”

Can-Ed, which is available for both iOS and Android devices, isn’t just about personal edification or job-seeking. It also includes topics such as how parents can talk to their children about cannabis, and more. Sturstman adds, “It provides you all the information about marijuana science, how the products affect you, maybe you just want a little bit of background on some of the compliances.”
