Non-fungible tokens continue to find a home in the cannabis ecosystem

Non-fungible tokens (NFT) don’t seem to exclude any industry from participating, and mixing them with cannabis seems to be a reality today. Southern California’s original licensed private cannabis event producer Secret Sesh is aware of the boom in both markets, and that’s why it just announced the launch of the Secret Sesh NFT project and the Metaverse community.

According to the recent announcement, the project provides holders with digital and real-world utility. It will debut with a total of 2500 unique roles for the whitelisted mint price (WL) of 0.0420 ETH on OpenSea starting next month.

Secret Sesh is renowned for its high-quality private cannabis events, so having a branded NFT will now become a new form of a lifetime membership to have access to them, either digitally, or physically. In order to develop the project in the best possible way, Secret Sesh has made agreements with different retailers and cannabis brands around the country to offer special discounts to the owners of these NFTs.

Some of the partners announced so far have been the California cannabis companies Moxie and Greenwolf. It is expected that during the coming months, more collaborations will be revealed that will make this initiative unique.

In addition to allowing entry into digital spaces, Secret Sesh’s NFTs feature play-to-win games. It currently has a construction space with VR billiards and beer pong, and more similar games are expected to be introduced in the future.

Tim Brown, CEO of Secret Sesh, says his team’s main goal is to bring the brand to a worldwide audience of enthusiasts who share both a cannabis culture and an interest in cryptocurrencies.

“We’re building out our own world, and without a VR headset, people will be able to walk around, have conversations, and have a digital experience similar to the real world Secret Sesh. 10-20 years from now, real events might be very different. We want to be at the forefront. Creating digital spaces and accepting crypto as payment from sponsors is going to allow us to grow in the development of Web3,” he added.
