The Seattle-based company is taking advantage of the newly-approved Farm Bill

According to a press release from Baristas Coffee, the company is now offering its “EnricherRoast CBD” coffee nationwide in the U.S. The move comes through a partnership with Flower Power and is made possible after President Trump signed into law the 2018 Farm Bill, which became effective January 1.

EnricherRoast CBD reportedly offers a “healthy intake of caffeine,” combined with cannabidiol (CBD). CBD is known to be helpful in treating Alzheimer’s glaucoma, arthritis, severe pain and even hangovers.

According to the company’s CEO, Barry Henthorn, “This is an entirely new market expected to grow exponentially and we’re proud to be pioneers during this period of evolving American History. We will continue to evolve Baristas products while expanding our brand, as we design and create additional Baristas EnricherRoast’ coffee and CBD products.”

Baristas white coffee has been featured during NFL broadcasts and on the MLB Network. The company gained a significant amount of exposure when it was highlighted on the “Grounded in Seattle” reality TV show on WE TV. It has also been seen on Shark Tank, CNN and Sports Illustrated.

The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp production across the country, but there are still a number of restrictions in place. Although Baristas is confident that they won’t have any issues distributing their products throughout the U.S., they still are treading lightly until they can be sure there won’t be any negative blowback from the federal government.
