The Green Pages can give the cannabis industry much-needed info on banking options

The financial needs in the cannabis sector remain immense. Very little movement has been seen with respect to banking reform at the federal level, so new solutions have begun to emerge for companies to get ahead on this issue. The inaugural edition of the Cannabis Banking Directory, called “The Green Pages,” recently went online as a free industry resource published by the PBC Conference team.

The directory, which is downloadable in PDF format, has been developed to list contact information for approximately 40 financial institutions serving the cannabis industry across the country. PBC Conference hosts an annual B2B conference on the cannabis banking ecosystem that brings together a large number of cannabis banking industry executives, as well as those working in cannabis compliance, legislation, regulation and ancillary businesses.

PBC Conference CEO Joshua Radbod sums up the organization’s mission as “helping financial institutions, CRB, government and partners meet, connect and grow together.” Through this new project, it is hoped that the industry will have a free tool to help marijuana operators easily find access to banking options to meet their financial needs. Notably, the firm also provides strategic financial advisory services.

With a special focus on banking, payments and compliance, the third annual PBC Conference will be held in the middle of next week in Washington, DC, at the Capital Hilton Hotel. The two-day conference intends to feature keynote addresses from policymakers and leading names in finance and cannabis, panel sessions, and one-on-one meetings with leading providers.
