Another Friday to stay safe at home, and, if you already created the habit of having sweet treats during the weekend to keep you company, this might be of interest. This is a recipe for homemade chocolate marijuana cupcakes that is incredibly easy to make, and even better to enjoy.

Chocolate Marijuana Cupcake

Servings: 12-16 cupcakes

Total time: 45 minutes


-4 tablespoons cannabis butter or oil
-1 1/3 C flour
-2 t baking powder
-1/4 t baking soda
-3/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/4 t salt
-1 1/2 C sugar
-2 large eggs
-1 C milk
-1/2 T vanilla


Before starting, preheat the oven to 350° F, then, look for a muffin pad or cupcake pad so you can add paper muffin liners. Next, in a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt, mixing them together. Set the mixture aside and, in another large bowl, cream together the cannabis butter or oil and the sugar. Once it is creamy, add the eggs – one at a time – and then beat the mixture every time you add one more egg; finally, add the vanilla. It is now time to add the dry mixture and the milk, alternating one and the other. Continue beating until it has a uniform consistency and then pour the mixture in the cups, filling them 3/4 full. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool for 10-15 minutes and add frosting is desired.
