Travelers can rent a treehouse decorated for all tastes, including cannabis enthusiasts

A new spot for vacationers in California casts a whole different light on the term hospitality, as well as new frontiers in social distancing. Who wouldn’t say yes to a short vacation in a treehouse, which comes complete with a rolling tray and a bag of high-quality cannabis left there for the guest’s enjoyment, as an upgrade, along with the traditional fruits and flowers? Sounds like a fantasy, but it really is there, just waiting for you in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains outside of Monroe, WA. The place is called the ‘Mountain Views Tree House Joint,’ and it is truly a B&B with a difference.

The property is perfect for an “adults-only” getaway like no other, especially for those who would like to kick back and enjoy the scenery with some top-notch locally grown cannabis available at the front desk, or from room service. The ‘Joint’ is located in beautiful and bountiful Snohomish County near Rudolf Reece Park on four secluded acres and offers four unique and wonderful ‘tree-houses’ for guests to rent year-round.

Number one is called, what else, the Pot Leaf Treehouse, followed by the Hashtag Treehouse and the 420 Treehouse, and a recently-added fourth treehouse is known as the ‘Trippy Treehouse,’ which was designed by famous tree-house architect Sunray Kelley. It is also the largest of the four at 150 square feet.

Creator and owner Tracy Rice also offers nice rooms in her large house nearby. She and her staff have equipped the place to accommodate adults who want to get away from the norm, and this beautiful, unique property with free-roaming animals and guests certainly fills the bill.
